International Women's Day celebrated in Berlin

On Saturday, March 7, a grand gathering, “For Tolerance and Equality against Fundamentalism and Misogyny”, was held in Berlin to mark the International Women’s Day and address the many challenges and hurdles in the pursuit of gender equality. One of the major themes discussed at the event was the extremely destructive role of Islamic Fundamentalism in relation to women rights. Be it the Middle East or Africa, Asia or Europe – Islamic Fundamentalism has emerged as a serious threat to human and women rights, and has to be overcome for the advancement of the cause.

Iran crackdowns on barbers, photographers and satellite dish distributers

On Monday, the National Council of Resistance of Iran  (NCRI), reported that, at least 30 shops, including photography shops, barber shops, and printing shops, were sealed in several cities in the Mazandaran Province (northern Iran) under the pretense that they have breached 'Islamic codes'.

Iranian Diplomat Held for Child Harassment by German Police

Stop Fundamentalism – Iran is complaining to German Embassy in Tehran for apparently bad treatment of an Iranian diplomat in Frankfurt, report Iranian news media, Thursday.

The incident took place Monday when, as it is explained by the Iranian authorities, a German woman attacked the Iranian diplomat while he was on his way to work.
