Iranian officials and state media are warning each other about the corruption and the escalating fury of the Iranian people and protests reports The National Council of Resistance of Iran (NCRI), and the People’s Mujahedin of Iran (PMOI / MEK Iran).
On the 18 and 19 of April, Iran’s state-run media admitted how the regime had ruined the country’s economy and people’s lives, and warned of further civil unrest. Iranians are now dealing with high inflation, skyrocketing prices, and the worst Covid-19 outbreak in the Middle East.
The Iranian state media has spent the last week focusing on the election’s “possible candidates.” Several officials have declared their candidacy, but none of them, according to the regime’s media, “have enough experience to bring people to the ballot box.”
The Iranian regime is “desperate” for the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA) to be saved with the US rejoining, according to Iranian-American political scientist Dr. Majid Rafizadeh, because of the “financial hardship” and domestic pressure it’s facing.
The National Council of Resistance of Iran (NCRI), and the People’s Mujahedin of Iran (PMOI / MEK Iran) reported that the Iranian regime continued escalatory nuclear activity last week with the announcement that it would enrich uranium to 60% fissile purity, after systematically breaching terms of the Iran nuclear deal in 2019 and then fully ceasing enforcement at the start of 2020.
