The deputy foreign minister of Iran declared earlier this week that the sacking of the US Secretary of State Rex Tillerson is a clear indication that the United States is set on pulling out of the 2015 Iran nuclear deal.

President Donald Trump announced in a message on Twitter on Tuesday this week that Rex Tillerson would be replaced by Mike Pompeo – the head of the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA).

As the future of the incredibly flawed 2015 Iranian nuclear deal hangs in the balance, the National Iranian American Council (NIAC) are desperately trying to save it by any means necessary.

This is nothing new and has been happening since Donald Trump, who famously threatened to tear up the deal, got into office, but until October, no one was quite sure whether Trump would do anything.

The Donald Trump administration has just approved the export of high-tech US exports to Iran, a move that could increase international oversight of the 2015 nuclear deal.
US Deputy Secretary of State John Sullivan signed a waiver to allow the Maryland-based company, Hughes Network Systems, to send broadband networks, satellite dishes and wireless equipment to Iran for use by stations that monitor nuclear explosions as they happen.
