Iranian Women’s Rugby Team heads to India

 

SF News – Iranian women’s Rugby team is heading to India to participate in the Asia’s Woman competition there.  13 teams will be participating in these games which will take place on 2-3 October.

It is not yet apparent which teams Iran will face as of yet. 

Other countries participating in the games beside India are China, Taiwan, India, Japan, Kazakhstan, South Korea, Laos, Malaysia, Thailand and Uzbekistan.

Iranian women team are known to play the fields with full Islamic dress code wearing headscarves. But the members of the team don’t believe having to dress up so heavy will not have any effect on how they play.
