The Iranian regime is at a dead-end. It has no possibility of staying in power as the current situation stands. It is under immense pressure domestically because the people of Iran will not relent in their calls for regime change.

The situation in Iran, for the people, has been becoming increasingly unbearable because the regime’s response to the widespread discontent is to crack down on the people even more. At the beginning of the month, it looked like Iran and the United States were heading towards a major military conflict. The United States sent the USS Abraham Lincoln to the Gulf, followed by the USS Arlington warship with amphibious vehicles and aircraft. B-52 bombers were also deployed in response to what the United States described as a threat by Iran to U.S. forces in the Middle East.
