He advocated for the designation of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) as a terrorist organization across Europe to curtail their activities.
Despite urgent calls for action, German authorities have been hesitant to embrace tougher measures. Recent rejections of proposals in the Bundestag aimed at expanding EU sanctions on Iran and listing the IRGC serve as evidence of inertia in the face of growing threats.
