In the capital city of Tehran, nurses have continued their strikes, demanding higher wages and improved working conditions. In addition, creditors of the state-backed carmaker Rigan Khodro rallied outside the “special complex for dealing with economic crimes,” protesting corrupt financial practices and a lack of government response.
Political prisoners in Tehran and other prisons throughout Iran are actively participating in the “No to Executions” campaign. They are protesting against the recent increase in executions under the newly appointed government and calling on the international community to support their cause against the death penalty in Iran.

In Takestan, in northwest Iran, citizens took to the streets to protest the arrest of several defrauded creditors of the state-backed Rezayat Khodro, demanding accountability for the company’s corrupt practices. Similarly, around 600 workers from Khorasan Steel in Neyshabur, northeast Iran, went on strike over unpaid wages and changes to compensation policies.
Protests by nurses are also widespread, with demonstrations occurring in multiple cities, including Ilam, Bandar Abbas, Isfahan, Kermanshah, Yazd, Hamedan, and Bushehr. In Ilam, nurses gathered in front of the provincial governorate, demanding the payment of overdue salaries, higher wages, and better working conditions. Similar demands were echoed in Bandar Abbas, where nurses protested against inadequate pay and poor working conditions, chanting, “We don’t want promises, we want our rights!”

In Isfahan, nurses at Issa Bin Maryam Hospital continued their protests, expressing their dissatisfaction with low overtime pay. Protests by nurses in Kermanshah, Yazd, Hamedan, and Bushehr also called for improved pay and working conditions, with some demonstrations resulting in clashes with security forces.
Elsewhere, industrialists in Jajrud blocked a major road to protest ongoing power outages, while employees of multiple South Pars Gas Company refineries went on strike over unpaid salaries, highlighting widespread labor unrest across the country.
