Surviving an assassination attempt by a Tehran-hired hitman eight months ago, Dr. Vidal-Quadras spoke of his miraculous recovery and renewed commitment to the cause. “A miracle happened. Your prayers were listened to, and I survived,” he declared, reflecting on his ordeal and recovery. He passionately advocated for the liberation of Iran from 45 years of oppression, envisioning a peaceful and prosperous future where equality, rule of law, and freedom prevail.
Central to his speech was the endorsement of Maryam Rajavi’s Ten-Point Plan, which calls for gender equality, a non-nuclear stance, and comprehensive freedoms for all Iranians. “How many more people have they to kill? How many more wars have they to trigger?” he questioned, urging Western governments to close Iranian embassies and expel regime agents. “The fanatical and criminal regime of the mullahs must be isolated, rejected, and forced to fall,” he asserted, emphasizing the necessity of supporting the Iranian Resistance.
Dr. Vidal-Quadras also highlighted the resilience and courage of the Iranian freedom fighters, praising their self-sacrifice and determination. “I am now one more among the many thousands of Iranian freedom fighters that have resisted torture, prison, and even the loss of their most beloved ones,” he stated, expressing his pride in being part of this movement.
