Iran hangs seven on the charges of mischief

Stop Fundamentalism, June 7 – The website of the Iranian opposition, NCRI, reported today that 7 people have been hanged in Iran on the charges of hooliganism and mischief.

Five of the victims where hanged in public in the City of Jiroft, the state-run daily Quds reported on June 6.

The other two victims where hanged in the cities of Neka and Nashtarood, reports the Iranian Fars news agency.

This brings the total number of executions to 37 in less than a month.

The NCRI website reports that the Iranian regime has beefed-up its usage of inhumane punishments shortly after imposing new suppressive measures in May to confront growing social dissent.
