He staunchly supported the National Council of Resistance of Iran (NCRI) and the People’s Mojahedin Organization of Iran (PMOI/MEK), recognizing them as viable alternatives to the repressive Iranian government.

He ardently championed NCRI President-elect Maryam Rajavi’s 10-point plan for Iran’s future, which envisages a secular, democratic, and non-nuclear republic.He commended Rajavi’s leadership as “brilliant, strong, principled, and patriotic,” acknowledging her instrumental role in effecting change for the Iranian people.
