    True. Human values and basic rights are common sense, no matter where you are.

    Dictators and rogue governments try to use cultural differences to justify their wrong doings. The world community should not fall into this trap.

    Those who use culture, religion and particularly God as an excuse for their actions against humanity, know nothing about those subjects.

    		Iraqi jails, Iranian supervision

    Iraqi Interior Ministry runs six secret jails under Iranian supervision, a regional television network, Al- Arabia, reported Saturday.

    Montazer Sameraee, former high ranking officer of Iraqi special forces in the interior ministry told Al- Arabia that interior ministry has a secret force.

    These forces have arrested many people in different parts of the country and transferred them to the ministry. The families unable to find their loved ones in any detention facility would receive information about their body being found in streets.

    “All arrests are done without any court orders”, Sameraee adds.

    The interrogator in the ministry is a man named Ahmad Salman. He is an Iranian and a captain of Iranian information ministry.

    EU registers concerns about rights violations in Iran

    ImageTehran, Iran, Nov. 24 – The European Union criticised on Wednesday violations of freedom of speech in Iran and called on Tehran to adhere to its international obligations and commitments to human rights.

    The British Embassy in Tehran, in its role as the European Union (EU) Presidency, in a statement said that the Islamic Republic had violated “rights of freedom of expression and freedom of association”.

    EU: Iran papers solely for making nuclear arms

    World opposes Iran making nuclear fuel: EU draft

    ImageVIENNA (Reuters) – The U.N. nuclear watchdog’s governing board has reached a "broad consensus" that Iran should not be allowed to pursue nuclear enrichment, which would enable it to develop atom bombs, an EU diplomat said on Thursday.

    A draft statement outlining this position was submitted by the European Union’s three biggest powers — France, Britain and Germany — to the chairman of the International Atomic Energy Agency’s (IAEA) board as it began a 2-day meeting.

    Fundamentalism in Middle East brings poverty and oppression for the people of that region and to the whole world brings “terrorism.”

    War will not solve this problem, as you may see, but freedom and democracy will. It will bring knowledge and information to people so they may move away from backward ideologies that nourish on blood of innocent.

    		Iran speeds up work on Natanz nuclear site

    We have been informed by “Iran Focus” through an exclusive report that a secret construction work is going on right now in Iran’s massive nuclear enrichment facility in Natanz, central Iran. The construction includes more than a dozen new buildings being built, Iran focus reports.

    Iran Focus reports that it received the information from an Iranian engineer whose identity is being withheld as he lives in Iran. He provided Iran Focus with an account of 17 silos and bunkers being built in continuous shifts. The silos are all 24 meters high and have various-shaped entrances.

    Thirty construction contractors are carrying out the project. Workers are working 24 hours a day in several shifts.

    The source said that security at the site had been boosted to an unprecedented level following the recent visit by hard-line Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad.

    Mobile telephone contacts are banned for those working on the site. Workers are living in complete isolation from the outside world for the duration of the contract. They are only permitted to contact their families once in a while to let them know that they are well. Every worker has been asked to sign a pledge to remain on site until work has been completed.

    The source claimed that the buildings were being constructed to house new components and sensitive technology required for carrying out uranium enrichment at the site.

    Tehran has currently suspended uranium enrichment as negotiations with Europe’s Britain, France, and Germany continue over what the West suspects is a nuclear weapons program.

    Iran court sentences woman to hanging

    ImageTehran, Iran, Nov. 23 – Iran’s State Supreme Court upheld a death sentence against a woman, state dailies reported on Wednesday.

    The unidentified woman was accused of murdering the son of her second husband.

    An Islamic court in Tehran convicted her of murder last year and issued a sentence for her to be hanged.

    She now faces imminent execution

    Iraqi Interior Minister and Iran run 6 other torture chambers

    London, Nov. 19 – Iraqi Interior Minister Bayan Jabr is running six other torture chambers similar to the notorious detention centre discovered north of Baghdad earlier this week, a senior Interior Ministry official who stepped down from his positition said on Saturday.

    Many opponents of the Iraqi government have been systematically arrested and taken to the detention centres where they are subjected to torture and in many cases their dead bodies are later discovered abandoned in the open, Brigadier General Montazer Samera’ee, the former Inspector of the Iraqi Interior Ministry’s Special Forces told the al-Arabiya satellite news channel, adding that senior officers in the ministry knew of the centres.
