Crime Against Humanity – Amid Internet Shutdown

According to reports obtained by the network of People’s Mojahedin Organization of Iran (PMOI/MEK) at least 300 protesters have been killed by the security forces during Iran Protests 2019.

The religious fascism ruling Iran is trying its utmost to hide the scale of its crimes since the real number is much higher.

The majority of the victims are youth and some teenagers. Most of the are shot in the head and chest. The MEK’s network has so far, identified 99 of the victims.

Mrs. Maryam Rajavi, the President-elect of the National Council of Resistance of Iran (NCRI), underlined that “the slaughter of the protesters is undoubtedly a manifest case of crime against humanity and she urged the United Nations Security Council, governments and the international community to bring about an immediate halt to the killings and suppression, and secure the release of those detained.” Mrs. Rajavi also demanded that “investigative missions be sent to Iran to examine the case of those killed, the wounded and the prisoners.” Mrs. Rajavi also added that “the leaders of this regime must face justice for committing crimes against humanity and silence and inaction vis-à-vis crimes against humanity, are not only a violation of international conventions, laws, and standards but also embolden the mullahs to continue these atrocities against the Iranian people and expand it to the rest of the region.”
