Iran – Earthquake Shakes Tehran Central Province

Stop Fundamentalism –  A 4.3 magnitude on the Richter scale quake shot the eastern part of Tehran today, say Iranian news agencies and media.

The epicenter was located to be at the depth of 10 kilometers beneath the surface and 77 kilometers away from Tehran near the city of Damavand.

Earlier an earthquake of 7.4 magnitude hit Gilan province north of the country and 37 kilometers away from Damavand and 93 kilometers from Tehran.

According to Tehran Universities Geophysics laboratories, over 200 tremors have taken place in Iran during the past month, many going unnoticed due to being too weak.
