This audacious move lays bare the regime’s desperation in the face of mounting internal dissent, resorting to international persecution as a means to silence its critics.
In their impassioned plea, the Romanian parliamentarians implore the European Union to stand unwaveringly by its democratic principles. They call for resolute action in support of the establishment of an international tribunal tasked with holding the Iranian regime accountable for its egregious crimes against humanity.
Furthermore, they emphasize the paramount importance of safeguarding Iranian political refugees residing within Ashraf-3 and providing them with the protection they deserve.
