Stop stoning/execution of women
Tuesday, 13 December 2005

In the last 27 years, the ruling religious fundamentalists in Iran, by misusing the name of Islam, have executed tens of thousands of Iranian opponents. The fanatics suppress the Iranian people to continue their tyrannical rule. Their religious fanaticism is the heart of Islamic fundamentalism.

In the less than 3 months of Ahmadi Nejad’s presidency, more than 71 executions has taken place, among them adults under 18 years of age. Also, two women have been publicly stoned to death, though many more such sentences are not announced publicly for fear of international outcry as well as protests from the local population.

The fundamentalist regime not only supports terrorism, but the President recently announced publicly that Israel should be wiped from map of the world. This has resulted in worldwide condemnation. For instance, on 4th.Nov 2005, more than 15,000 Italians demonstrated against the fanatical Iranian regime.
Friends of Humanity has started an urgent campaign for the rights of Iranian women, who are under constant threat of execution and stoning.

Help us to support these women.
