UN voices serious concern about human rights violations in Iran
AFP: The UN General Assembly on Friday passed a resolution expressing "serious concern" about human rights violations in Iran, including the use of torture and public executions, and called on Tehran to end the abuses.

“Mullahs’ regime out of UN†– New York demonstrators demand In protest at the recent belligerent remarks by mullahs’ president Ahmadinejad, supporters of the Friends of Humanity and other human rights activists staged a rally in front the UN Headquarters in New York on Tuesday, November 1. Demonstrators carried banners calling for the Iranian regime’s expulsion from the UN and condemning the wave of recent arrests and executions in Iran. A number of anti-terrorist and human rights organizations expressed their support by sending delegations to the event.

Friends of humanity co sponsored a conference in Dallas on November 4, to condemn the Iranian regime’s efforts to export fundamentalism and terrorism. Supporters of “FOH†and other humanitarian activists took part in this conference. Homira Hisami, chairman of the Iranian Community Association in Dallas deplored Ahmadinejad’s recent remarks which called for destruction of Israel and the destabilization of Muslim and Arab states in the region and elsewhere.
