The President of the International American Council has written an op-ed for the Huffington Post saying: It is the world’s largest gathering of those who advocate freedom and democracy in Iran. A mass “Free Iran” rally is being held in the French capital, Paris, on July 9.
Senator John McCain, in a statement on the July 4 missile attack on Camp Liberty, said that he “strongly” condemned the assault which injured dozens of unarmed members of the People’s Mojahedin Organization of Iran (PMOI or MEK).
The July 9th demonstration in Paris is the world’s largest gathering of people who seek to promote democracy and freedom in Iran. Thousands of people are expected to attend the event, as was the case last year. Accordingly, many of the demonstrators are traveling from across the world to have their voices heard. Various world leaders, politicians and parliamentarians, will attend this rally, to support a free and just Iran.

In a prelude to Saturday’s grand gathering of thousands of Iranian dissidents in Bourget, France, a conference was held on Friday 8 July in Roissy-en-France near Paris. Many European and US political figures attended the conference speaking in three separate panels. They spoke on different aspects of the current situation in Iran and the western policy towards the mullahs’ government.
Iran has threatened to restart nuclear program, to pressure the United States to release money to the terrorist regime.

As we approach the first anniversary of the Iranian nuclear deal, tens of thousands of activists and Iranian dissidents are set to rally this Saturday in Paris, calling for Tehran’s nefarious conduct at home and in the region to be tackled. One of the primary messages at this rally will be to condemn Iran’s role in the massacre of the Syrian people and to demand an end to its assistance to the Assad government.
Amnesty International released a public statement on 6th July regarding the rocket attack on Camp Liberty in Iraq. On 4th July the camp was the target of an attack that left 50 injured and caused substantial material damage. They called for an independent, impartial and prompt investigation.
Maryam Rajavi, President-elect of the National Council of Resistance of Iran (NCRI), at a meeting at the Council of Europe in April 2006 spoke of how the movement hoped to change Iran for the better. Maryam Rajavi’s 10-point plan has been praised by politicians and leaders from all over the world.
Congressman Brad Sherman from California has voiced his support for Mrs Maryam Rajavi. He has worked for the Foreign Affairs Committee of the House of Representatives for the past 20 years and has focused on preventing Iran from obtaining a nuclear weapon and on “implementing an American foreign policy that reflects our values and our dedication to Human Rights”.
