Contrary to what Iranian state media presents showing a â€œpositive atmosphereâ€ in nuclear talks between Tehran and the west, leaked details by international media speak of â€œfinal confrontationâ€ between two sides, with one assertion that this confrontation is by Iranâ€™s choice.
The Iranian state-run news agency IRNA reported on December 28 the public hangings of two men in Ahwaz (southwestern of Iran). They were identified as “Naim Abdoullah Kh.” (a.k.a. Rahim) and “Jalil H.”, had been condemned to death on charges of “warring against God” by the Ahwaz Revolutionary Court.
Thousands of demonstrators rallied Tuesday morning in western Baghdad to protest alleged fraud in Iraq’s December 15 general elections and demand a re-run of the poll.
"No democracy without real elections", "rigged polls", "down with the electoral commission" read a number of banners.
Düsseldorf (Germany) – Friends of Humanity joined a rally in central Düsseldorf on December 27 to protest Mullahs’ human rights violations, export of terrorism and fundamentalism. Participants were particularly concerned over the clerical regime’s meddling in Iraq.
“Mullahs’ openly claim success in dominating Iraq and say that they can achieve what they failed in the eight-year war with Saddam,” said a young unemployed graduate from Tehran who recently fled the country. “Mullahs plan to dominate the Middle East after Iraq to establish their Islamic empire,” added Naser who spent two months in prison for participating in student protests in Tehran.
Berlin (Germany)- Friends Of Humanity co-sponsored a seminar on December 21 to expose Iran’s violations of Human Rights and meddling in Iraq.
