Dr. Mohammad Maleki, 83, the first Chancellor of the University of Tehran following the 1979 revolution, released a statement following the leaked audio recording from 1988 of Hossein-Ali Montazeri, the former heir to Khomeini, who acknowledged that the massacre that year was carried out and organised by the Iranian regime.

Iran: 60 boys and girls arrested for attending mixed-gender party

The National Council of Resistance of Iran (NCRI) has reported that over 60 boys and girls were arrested for attending a mixed-gender party. This happened in Sorkheh Hesar National Park near Tehran said the Fars news agency which is affiliated to the regime’s Revolutionary Guards (IRGC), on Tuesday, August 16.

Rockets Used in Saudi Border Attack “Made in Tehran”

As reported in the August 16 article in Al-Arabiya, missiles made in Tehran were recently used in Yemen by Houthi militias in cross border attacks against Saudi Arabia, according to Iran’s Islamic Republic News Agency (IRNA).

Despite Iranian denials earlier this month of involvement, the Zelzal-3 rockets are Iranian-made solid propellant missiles, which are known to be used by Iranian, Syrian and Hezbollah forces.

Dutch-Iranians to Hold Rally in Holland to Commemorate 1988 massacre

On August 15, the National Council of Resistance of Iran (NCRI) reports that Iranian residents in Holland are planning a large rally and march for this coming weekend.  They want to draw international attention to human rights abuses in Iran, and in remembrance of the 1988 massacre of political prisoners in Iran, under the mullahs’ regime.  They plan to march from the municipality building in The Hague to the Central Station on Saturday, August 20.  It will take place from 15.00 to 18.00 local time.

Three day sit-in protest in front of Dutch Parliament

Iranian opposition activists in the Netherlands have held the first day of a three-day hunger strike and sit-in in front of Parliament to show their support for the Iranian Resistance and the prisoners who have been victim to the recent spate of executions in Iran. They are calling for an immediate halt to executions.
