Iran, charging ahead with war

Ahmadinejad hitlerApril 30, 1945 Hitler committed suicide.  One week later, May 7 and 8, Nazi Germany’s army surrendered.  And that was the final scene of the biggest war in written human history that claimed the lives of 55 million people.

Those days the Fascist state considered any discontent and opposition to the war as a betrayal.  Hitler called his expansionism, extending German’s motherland and he depicted his war as a National war aiming to get back what was taken away from Germany.  With no shame, he considered the war a defensive one. 

Ironically at the same time when German tanks were maneuvering around in Belgium getting ready to overtake France, Hitler’s party staged an anti-war demonstration in Saarbrucken.  The Nazi peace advocates chanted, “Why fight? Let’s be friends” or, “We condemn war.”

And peace demonstration was the name for the charade the mullahs’ put together in Paris just last week.  Iran’s official and unofficial embassy cadres in Paris took to the streets (about a hundred of them) to “cry for peace.” 

The demonstration was a disaster because no one showed up and those passing by left as soon as they found out what the true nature of the organizers were.

May 1, 2006 (Stop Fundamentalism) – According to our sources in Iran, shortly after the announcement about direct takes between Iran and the U.S. on Mullahs’ meddling in Iraqi affairs, Tehran rulers, fearful about the effect the news would have in the ranks of their Security Forces and in a desperate attempt to minimize its’ disappointing setbacks among regime allies in the Middle East, Iran’s Foreign Ministry issued a classified directive to its’ embassies in Islamic nations "briefing everyone to curb misinterpretation of the concept".

Cleary this is a sharp U-turn on the part of the mullahs’ since for years they advertised against U.S "imperialism" for internal consumption. Hardly anyone has forgotten slogans at Friday prayers opposing the United States and providing ideological pretence to recruit "suicide bombers" for terrorist actions.

Iran, is waging war the only way?

MissileThere is a lot of talk and concern expressed recently in the news media about a possible war against Iran.  While the concerns are real, and I share in those concerns; there is one important aspect that should not be ignored.  It is important that in avoiding war we be careful not to fall for the ploys of an Islamic fascist dictator in Iran who is trying to use our peaceful aspirations to buy time to proceed with his own evil plans.

We live at a critical period in history.  What we choose to do can on the one hand bring peace and freedom to the whole world, including the Middle East or it can give way to the likes of another Hitler left free to do the unthinkable. Very soon we – the supporters of peace — will be forced into another war similar to World War II or even worse.

Today a fine hairline separates the realistic pursuit for peace and what would practically be a surrender to fundamentalist terrorists in Iran.

For the past 27 years, the policy of the West toward the mullahs ruling Iran has been a policy of appeasement.  It has been called a “carrot and stick” policy, which during Khatami’s reign, the former president of the theocracy in Iran, was called “Critical Dialog” by the Europeans. Of course Khatami himself used to call it the “Dialog of Civilizations.”

The policy was designed to use economical and political incentives to encourage the Iranians to come to the negotiating table where reason would hopefully prevail.

Iran’s nuclear issue is expected to be discussed at the Security Council in early May.

April 29, 2006 (Stop Fundamentalism) – An Iranian television program aired an interview with Mohsen Rezai, secretary of the State Exigency Council.  This interview reveals some of the behind the scene discussions in between the high rank officials of Iran.

“The nuclear, human rights and long-range missile issues are all pretexts to prevent Iran’s progress.” Rezaie said. 

“But we are breaking the blockade. Our influence in Iraq, Afghanistan and the Persian Gulf region shows that we are transforming from a national government to a regional power” Rezai bragged about Tehran’s active involvement in Iraq, Lebanon and other countries.  “A giant is slowly growing up in Iran, gaining dominance in its surrounding area. If it is empowered economically and technologically parallel to the political issues, after 20 or 30 years, when the west lifts its head, it will see that a small but regional empire has taken shape” he continued.

Referring to the transfer of Iran’s nuclear file to the UN Security Council by the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) he concluded, “Therefore, the nuclear issue is a pretext to prevent Iran’s progress.”

terroristsThe school is designed specially for the propose of training foreign agents carrying terror assignments under the Mullahs’ regime directions in Iran.  On the out set, the institute is advocating spread of Islam in the rest of the world, however its real task is to brain wash and turn young recruits into time bombs ready to explode at mullahs’ orders.

From the early days of emergence of Islamic regime in Iran, back in late 1970s, recruiting, training and dispatching young recruits  to other countries as missionaries of Khomeini’s thoughts has been the order of the day.  In September of 1979, the "Guardian Council of Foreign Students" was established in Qum’s main theological center and began its work in Hojjateh institute.

In 1986, with small changes in the formation of this body, "Global Center for Islamic Science" came to existence.

In the 90s, Khomeini emerged as the Supreme Leader of the Mullahs’ regime with the power to choose the head of GCIS directly.

Khamanei: Assault on Iran will damage American interestes all over the world

Nuclear showdown iranApril 26, 2006 (Stop Fundamentalism) – Ayatollah Ali Khamanei, Iran’s Supreme Leader, speaking to a crowed this morning warned US that any attack on Iran would put American interests all over the world at jeopardy, Fars News Agency reported today April 26. 

“Iranian people and the Islamic Order will not assault anyone,” Khamanei said claiming the Islamic Republic to be a peaceful government.  “But the Americans should know if they assault on the Islamic Iran their interests, anywhere in the world that they are, will be harmed and Iran will answer any hit with twice as much force” he emphasized.

Obese parrot, plump dogs and capitalism

An article in yesterday’s British Guardian reported with some alarm that

obesity among Britain’s pets has become so acute that three-quarters of vets now run fat clinics to combat the problem.

So dire things have gotten that even the Royal Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals got into the act with its inspectors attending to several cases which involved not only dogs but also a donkey and a parrot. As a result, the esteemed Society felt compelled to urge pet owners

to watch the weight of their pets and to stop feeding them junk food. It cited the case of a dog that had grown to almost double its normal weight after being fed a diet that included breakfast fry-ups.

I just can’t stop marveling at the prosperity-generating power of capitalism.

Has there ever before been a socio-economic system where pet obesity reached epidemic proportions?

Historical and Judicial truth about Iran’s terrorism

The first day of spring this year, the Investigative Magistrate, Jacques Antenen in Canton of Vaud of Switzerland, issued an arrest warrant for the murderer of my father Kazem Rajavi.  Very soon, the computer monitors of all police stations around the world will display the name and face of Ali Fallahian, the former Intelligence Minister of the Iranian regime.

This will be a proud moment to remember for the judge in the town of Lausanne for bringing once again the “historical” and the “judicial” truth together.  No intelligent service had any doubts in the involvement of Iranian senior officials in this murder.

The theocracy of Rafsanjani, Iran’s President at the time of my father’s assassination and the current chief of Iran’s Expediency Council, and his predecessors must now answer.  While the sentence came in late but it displayed the Judiciary’s independence since no governmental ranks of command was able to interfere.  This is also the result of Vaud’s police hard work.

Just before the death of Ayatollah Rohollah Khomeini and the death decree against Salman Rushdi, Islamic Regime had adapted East Germany’s Intelligent Services during the 1950s.

Ali Larijani, Iran’s Top Nuclear Negotiator

April 25, 2006 (Stop Fundamentalism)- Ali Larijani, the secretary of Iran’s Supreme National Security Council and Tehran’s top nuclear negotiator said Tuesday that Iran will cut off its relations with the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) if the UN Security Council imposes sanctions against it.

"If sanctions are imposed on Iran, then we will suspend our relations with the IAEA," Larijani cautioned the international community

Iran has caused and international standoff since 2003 when the Iranian opposition uncovered its clandestine nuclear activities.  IAEA referred Iran to the UN Security Council last year for noncompliance with its commitments to the None Proliferation Agreement which Iran is a signatory of.

Regarding a military attack Larijani said, "If the USA attacks Iran’s nuclear facilities, we will stop acting transparently in the nuclear field and continue covert nuclear work at other facilities," he said.
