International Children’s Day in Iran is celebrated on 8th October. However, this is not a day of celebration given the appalling conditions for children in the country.

On October 10th the Iranian diplomat Assadollah Assadi, who was arrested during a bomb attack, has recently threatened Belgian authorities. He is yet to be tried but if found guilty he has said he would retaliate against Belgian. This was reported in a police document provided by Reuters.


The Iranian opposition TV network, Iran National Television (INTV) has reported that on the World Day against the Death Penalty, 10 October 2020, Iranian political prisoners supporters of the People’s Mojahedin Organization of Iran (PMOI / MEK Iran), issued statements in support of the abolishment of the death penalty.


The Iranian regime knows that another nationwide uprising is on the horizon and it is trying everything that it can control society. Another uprising or series of major protests would push the regime even closer to collapse.


Late last week, the U.S. imposed sanctions on eighteen of Iran’s banks. The regime responded by stating that such action only made life harder for the Iranian people.


There have been numerous protests in Iran in recent weeks. The People’s Mojahedin Organization of Iran (PMOI / MEK Iran) has said that several social classes have been participating in the protests but that the driving force is once again because of economic issues.


For the umpteenth time, Mrs. Maryam Rajavi the President-elect of the National Council of Resistance of Iran’s (NCRI), has attempted to get Iran expelled from the United Nations and its leaders made to face justice for the crimes against humanity they have been involved in.
