The National Council of Resistance of Iran (NCRI) have published an article with the reaction of Mrs Maryam Rajavi following the cruel circumstances surrounding the execution of a large number of Sunni prisoners in Gohardasht Prison. She called it “an appalling crime against humanity” and sent her sincere condolences to the families of the victims, their families and the people of Iran.
The theoretician of the Iranian regime’s torture and execution in the judicial system, Mohammad Javad Larijani, has supported the death penalty and stated: “The Western’s view towards execution is baseless. They say the death penalty is unwarranted and inappropriate. However, we believe that the heavy punishment of execution must be carried out for serious crimes.”
The National Council of Resistance of Iran (NCRI) have reported that Fatah’s Information and Culture Commission has slammed the remarks by the advisor to the Iranian regime’s Foreign Minister as “a reflection of the policy of his destructive system”. This is following the meeting between Iranian Resistance President-elect Maryam Rajavi and Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas on Saturday in Paris.

According to a report by the National Council for Resistance of Iran (NCRI) on July 29, a group of political prisoners went on hunger strike on Thursday and Friday in solidarity with other political prisoners on hunger strike in Iran.
In an open letter, the prisoners, held in Gohardasht (Rajai-Shahr) Prison in Karaj, north-west of Tehran, announced that their two-day hunger strike was an act of protest, saying, “Some political prisoners have been on hunger strikes in the past three months seeking the fulfillment of their demands. Nasim Naghash-Zargaran (Maryam Naghash-Zargaran), Rasoul Hardani and Arzhang Davoudi are among those who have gone on hunger strike and their conditions are critical since they each began their hunger strike quite a while ago.”
In a piece for the Daily Caller, July 27, Struan Stevenson, President of the European Iraqi Freedom Association had this to say, “Barack Obama has faced an onslaught of criticism about his reluctance to get involved in the bloody civil war in Syria. Critics claim his reticence has enabled Bashar al-Assad to butcher men, women and children at will in cities like Aleppo, without fear of retribution, in a conflict that has raged for more than 6 years.”
