Bill That Could Put an End to Jet Deals Between US and Iran

Congress has just introduced a new bill that could put a stop to the business dealings between Iran and aircraft manufacturers Boeing and Airbus. This bill is set to challenge Trump’s administration just as he comes into office. 

Republican Member of the House Peter Roskam introduced a bill last week that will instigate an investigation to be carried out by the new administration’s Director of National Intelligence into the national airlines of Iran including Iran Air.

They advised the Trump administration that the NCRI is a valuable resource and should be consulted for issues regarding foreign policy and Iran.

Terrorist Appointed Ambassador of Iran in Iraq

Brigadier General Iraj Masjedi, adviser of Qassem Soleimani, the commander of the terrorist Qods Force, has just been appointed as the new ambassador of the Iranian regime in Iraq. The Asr-e state-run website said that the regime’s embassy in Iraq’s capital is “one of the strategic positions abroad”. It also added that the embassy and it ambassador are considered “of the utmost importance”.

Former US officials urge President-elect Trump to consult with Iran opposition

Twenty-three former officials of the US government have called on President-elect Donald Trump to deal with the Iranian opposition group – the National Council of Resistance of Iran (NCRI). 

In a letter to Trump, the 23 former officials advised that the NCRI is a valuable resource to the administration and that he should consult with the group.

The funeral of Rafsanjani, the former President of Iran, brought earlier than expected trouble. The Rafsanjani-Rouhani chanted “these too many people are here for their love for leader”, whereas the other side shouted “dictator, dictator”, “our state television, our shame” and “political prisoners should get released”.

The unrest in society was not just contained in the capital – there were protests in Mashhad where people chanted “Down with Khamenei”.

Iran Regime Fearful of MEK’s Power and Influence

In a recent report, the Iranian regime’s Ministry of Intelligence admitted that many young Iranians are turning to the People’s Mojahedin of Iran (PMOI / MEK). It also revealed that the MEK has a high status, not just within Iran, but also internationally.

The report was published on the Habilian website which has links to the Ministry of Intelligence. The report said that the MEK was after regime change.
