The International Committee in Search of Justice (ISJ) has voiced their condemnation of the rocket attack that happened at Camp Liberty near Baghdad on Monday 4th July (20.30 local time). The attack coincided with the breaking the fast in the month of Ramadan. Around 50 rockets hit the camp and the surrounding area, causing widescale damage to much of the residential area infrastructures.

MEPs: warnings on Camp Liberty ignored by US and UN
In a strongly worded press release on Tuesday, Members of the European Iraqi Freedom Association (EIFA) of the European Parliament said that, yet again, their warnings to the US and the UN about the danger of attacks on Camp Liberty had gone unheeded.

Members of the European Parliament have called upon the European Union and its member states to act to expel the Quds Force of Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps from Iraq.The Quds Force of the IRGC “regularly plans and executes terrorist plots against the civilian population,” according to the statement from Strasburg.
MEPs horrified at Iranian regime’s “destructive role in the region”
The National Council of Resistance of Iran (NCRI) has quoted Bulgarian Member of the European Parliament, Svetoslav Malinov, as saying that many MEPs are “’indignant” with regards to the Iranian regime’s support for Syrian dictator Assad. The Iranian regime, he said, has “played a very destructive role in the region”.
