Iran Hanged 8 including 2 women in Zahedan

Stop Fundamentalism – Iranian regime has hanged 8 prisoners in Zahedan, southwest of Iran, Saturday morning, reports HRA News agency (Iranian Human Rights Activists).  Two of the prisoners were women. Also reports say that two of the men executed were Afghan nationals.

Iran Is Removing Earth At Suspicious Nuclear Site

Stop Fundamentalism –  Satellite Images of the Iranian disputed nuclear site, Parchin, are the cause concern among nuclear experts and diplomats accredited by the UN nuclear agency, IAEA, said Associated Press on Friday.  Pictures show trucks and heavy machinery removing earth at the Parchin military site.  The activities are a sign that Iran is planning a cover-up of its nuclear tests at this location.

2003 - 2011 Number of ExecutionsStop Fundamentalism – Ahmad Shaheed, the UN Special Rapporteur on the situation of human rights in the Islamic Republic of Iran, released a new report on March 6 about the country’s deteriorating human rights situation.  

Mr. Shaheed regretted that the government of Iran did not allow him to visit the country on 19 September. 

In his report, Shaheed urged the Iranian authorities to give “positive consideration to his request” for a visit to allow his “unfettered access to the country to carry out his mandate.”

Iran Ranks 120 and Most Corrupt Governments says Transparency International

Stop Fundamentalism – Transparency International Organization (Transparency.org) has ranked Iran to be among one of the “most corrupt” governments in 2011.  Iran has been rated to be at rank120 among 183 countries.

Saudi Arabia’s Diplomat Killed in Bangladesh

Stop Fundamentalism – A Saudi Arabian diplomat, Khalaf Al Ali, was shot in the chest and died in the Bangladesh capital in the early hours of Tuesday, the deputy commissioner of Dhaka police told AFP.  He was found by the police near his home and rushed to the hospital where he died three hours later.

German Paper: Iran Tests Nuclear Weapons in North Korea

Stop Fundamentalism – German language news publications reported last week that Iran and North Korea have cooperated in a number of nuclear tests in early 2010.  Die Welt newspaper reported Sunday that Iran has completed at least one nuclear weapons test in North Korea in 2010, says the website of Radio Farda, a Persian language radio program based in Europe.
