It all began in 1979 with the overthrow of the Shah as The People’s Mojahedin Organization of Iran (PMOI / MEK Iran), supported his demise and announced its support for freedom and justice in Iran.


The latest session of Parliament in Iran has highlighted the extreme disaccord between the different factions of the Iranian regime. Iranian President Hassan Rouhani even refused to show up to the session that was holding a vote for his chosen candidate for the post of Minister of Industry, Mine and Trade.


Last year, protests broke out in November. It took the regime by surprise and it ordered suppressive forces to crack down hard on the people in the street. More than 1,500 protesters were killed because of the sheer violence they were met with, thousands more injured and many more thousands arrested.


The vicious repression of the huge protests that swept Iran last November (2019) is part of the policy of Velayat-e-Faqih or the religious rule by the mullahs over the state.

There has been an increase in activities by young Iranians and The People’s Mojahedin Organization of Iran (PMOI / MEK) network inside Iran, MEK’s resistance units recently because the country is eager to support a regime change.


According to The People’s Mojahedin Organization of Iran, (PMOI / MEK) reporter, on September 30th prison guards of the Greater Tehran Penitentiary exerted extreme force in order to relocate political prisoners that had been arrested at the November 2019 uprising in Hall Two of the facility’s Unit Five section.


Iran’s economic problems are not caused by sanctions but by the widespread corruption of the mullahs.


The Iranian regime attempted to bomb a rally held by the Iranian Resistance, the National Council of Resistance of Iran (NCRI), and the People’s Mojahedin Organization of Iran (PMOI / MEK Iran), in Paris in 2018, but thankfully the European police thwarted this attempt and the Iranian diplomat who planned the attack, as well as the three terrorists he hired, were arrested almost immediately.
