Iraq Protest Continues Despite Iran Regime Suppression

Anti-corruption demonstrations in Iraq have taken on a new dimension since January 19, with the Iraqi people, particularly those who live in the southern provinces, setting fire to posters of Iran-linked terrorist masterminds Qassem Soleimani and Abu Mahdi al-Muhandis, who died in a US drone strike on January 3.
In Najaf, protesters actually set fire to the headquarters of Iran-backed militia group Kata’ib Hezbollah, who like Soleimani and Muhandis committed numerous crimes in Iraq.

Albania Expels Two Iran “Diplomats”

Albania recently expelled two Iranian “diplomats” on espionage charges, according to Top Channel TV on January 19.
On Saturday night, Mohammad Ali Arz Peimanemati and Seyed Ahmad Hosseini Alast were ordered to leave Albania as persona non grata and Albanian anti-terrorism units followed tight security measures to move them out of the country, with 20 anti-terrorism officers escorting the men and their families to the airport.

The clerical regime has a contradictory nature, uncharacteristic of any theocracy that has ruled before it: seemingly holding elections while effectively preserving a monopoly of power through the “supreme leader”. That institution represents the essence of its undemocratic nature.

Iran Appoints New Quds Deputy

The Islamic Revolutionary Guards Corps (IRGC) Commander-in-Chief has appointed Brigadier General Mohammad Hejazi as the Deputy-Commander of the Quds Force, which means that we should look at Hejazi’s life.
Hejazi, 63, previously served as the commander of the IRGC’s paramilitary branch, the Basij, from 1997-99. Then, he became deputy commander of the IRGC.

A new wave of domestic cyberwarfare, led by the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) in collaboration with the Ministry of Intelligence and Security (MOIS), accelerated significantly after the eruption of the nationwide protests.
The internal network of the main opposition People’s Mojahedin Organization of Iran (MEK/PMOI), has established that the regime has focused on mass surveillance through malicious codes embedded in IRGC mobile apps to actively monitor and disrupt the communication of protesters and dissidents.

It has been reported that on Tuesday 14th January 2020, another woman has been executed in Iran. This brings the total number of women executed in Iran since President Hassan Rouhani took office to more than a hundred.
The woman that was executed last week has been identified as 29 year old Maliheh Haji Hassani. Her execution took place in the central prison of Shiraz.
