Iran Executes 104th Woman Under Rouhani

The Iranian regime executed its first woman in 2020 and its 104th under the presidency of supposed moderate Hassan Rouhani, it was announced on Tuesday.
The woman, identified only as Sara M, was executed in Mashhad Central Prison last week, according to the state-run Rokna news agency. She’d been sent to prison in 2016, aged 32, and spent three years on death row. The exact date of her execution was not announced.

Counterterrorism scholar and expert on US policy towards Iran Professor Ivan Sascha Sheehan has written a book about the journey of a bipartisan delegation of senior US officials into the heart of the Iranian Resistance, in Ashraf 3, Albania, home to 3,000 members of Iranian opposition group, the People’s Mojahedin Organization of Iran (PMOI/MEK).
The book, titled Iran’s Resurgent Resistance, Professor Sheehan explains that the US fails to understand the nature of the Iranian Regime and notes that Iran’s dissident community will best be able to bring democracy to Iran.

Lawmakers from the United States have been voicing their support for the Iranian people as they continue their anti-regime protests across the country.

These latest protests began on Saturday after regime officials admitted that the Revolutionary Guards (IRGC) downed the Ukrainian commercial flight on January 8, killing all 176 passengers and crew. The regime tried to deny responsibility for three days, blaming the plane crash on technical issues, but this lie was soundly rejected by the Iranian people and other governments.

Following the acknowledgment made by the Iranian regime’s Revolutionary Guards (IRGC) Aerospace Force chief Amir Ali Hajizadeh on shooting down the Ukrainian airliner, thousands of Iranians in Tehran and a number of other cities protested against the Iranian regime leaders by chanting “Down with the dictator!” and “Down with Khamenei!” This is a direct reference to the regime’s supreme leader Ali Khamenei.

Iranian regime’s  Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei lamented yesterday the death of notorious terrorist Qassem Soleimani, in a particularly fawning speech where he called the murderer of hundreds of thousands of civilians “brave”. This acknowledged that Soleimani was the regime’s second-in-command and that this had dealt a major blow to the regime.
