The United States embassy in Tehran was taken over, on November 4, 1979, by the group “Student followers of the line of the Imam.”

Forty years ago fifty-two employees and diplomats of the U.S. embassy were taken hostage for 444 days.

Some of the hostage-takers, like Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, former Iranian regime’s president became the most senior officials of Iran’s regime.

Some others present themselves as “moderates” despite their loyalty to the Iranian regime’s agenda.

Ardebil prison’s authorities prevented Rahim Gholami from being transferred to the hospital. Rahim Gholami, poet and writer, has been in Ardebil prison since September 17, 2019. Prison’s authorities deprived Gholami from access to medical treatment despite his poor health condition.

Gholami is suffering from recurrent kidney disease (kidney stones) and breathing disorders. During his incarceration, his health condition has deteriorated and he must use spray for his breathing problem.

Iran’s intelligence tries to distort history and a spread narrative of lies against the People’s Mojahedin Organization of Iran (PMOI, or Mujahedin-e-Khalq, MEK Iran) by publishing hundreds of books and false documents. The MEK is Iran’s main opposition and best-organized movement. The growing popularity of the MEK inside Iran, particularly in cyberspace and social media, has forced the regime to increase its activities against the Iranian Resistance.

Dozens of Iraqi protesters attacked the Iranian consulate in the Shia holy city of Karbala on Sunday, November 3, 2019, reported Reuters.

Local reports say that four protesters were killed outside the consulate.

Since the protests began in Baghdad, more than 250 people have been killed.

A video published by Britain’s Sun on November 1, 2019, shows an angry male Iranian State Security Force officer roughly grabbing an unsuspecting teenage girl and forcefully flinging her on to the ground – because she wasn’t wearing a hijab.

The video shows the girl was grabbed and shoved by the large, male officer while walking along a street, in broad daylight in front of people in an Iranian street.

The U.S. State Department Country Reports on Terrorism 2018, released on November 1, 2019, calling Iran the “world’s worst state sponsor of terrorism.”
The European intelligence organizations, in their annual reports, have consistently emphasized that the PMOI and the National Council of Resistance of Iran are the main targets of the Ministry of Intelligence and the terrorist Quds Force.

According to the website of People’s Mojahedin Organization of Iran (PMOI/MEK), Rasht prison authorities executed a prisoner, who was sentenced to the death penalty, on Thursday, October 31, 2019. The executed prisoner was identified as Mehran Ghorbani. He was arrested in 2014 on charges of murder and was in prison, awaiting his death penalty.

Government bodies and news agencies haven’t announced this execution.

The prison authorities had transferred Mehran Ghorbani and another prisoner, Mohsen khojasteh, to solitary confinement. Mohsen’s execution was temporarily suspended he was sent back to his ward.

The Parliamentary Committee for a Democratic Iran (CPID) held a conference about the human rights situation in Iran and the need to hold the Regime accountable for its rights abuses at the French National Assembly on Tuesday.

During the conference, several French MPs from various political parties spoke to underline the need to take a new approach to Iran in order to contain the mullahs’ destabilizing behavior in the Middle East.

At the conference, Maryam Rajavi, the president-elect of the National Council of the Resistance of Iran (NCRI), introduced a new book featuring the names of 5,000 members of the People’s Mojahedin Organization of Iran (PMOI, Mujahedin-e Khalq MEK), who were murdered by the Iranian regime in the 1988 massacre of 30,000 MEK members.

Based on a report by state-run Rokna news agency, Gholamali Sadeghi, the head of the judiciary in Khorasan Razavi province, said, “Moral Security Police arrested more than 50 persons in a night party on Thursday, in the vicinity of Mashhad city in Iran.”

Sadeghi continued, “Female agents detained 23 women in the mentioned place. Also, 29 men were arrested. Moral Security Forces sealed the place and confiscated 24 expensive cars.”

The People’s Mojahedin Organization of Iran (PMOI, Mujahedin-e Khalq or MEK Iran) released a new book about the massacre of 30,000 political prisoners in Iran in 1988.

In a conference at the European Parliament in Strasbourg on October 23, the National Council of Resistance of Iran president-elect Maryam Rajavi said: “This is not just a book containing the names of victims, but a historic testimony on how Iran has been taken hostage by the fascist medieval theocracy.”
