Iranian authorities brutally severed the hand of a man in Mazandaran province, northern Iran, on Wednesday, according to the regime’s justice ministry. The man was charged with theft.

“The policy of Mazandaran’s Justice Department is severe and indiscriminate punishment for people who disrupt public security and order”, a state-run news agency, Young Journalists Club (YJC) cited the statement as saying.

In a press conference on Wednesday, October 23, 2019, Albania’s Police Chief announced that recently a terrorist cell connected to the Iranian regime was uncovered.

The cell planned to launch an attack on the Iranian opposition movement, the Mujahedin-e Khalq (PMOI/MEK) based in Albania.

The cell was also responsible for planning a terrorist attack on an Iranian New Year (Nowruz) gathering organized by the PMOI/MEK in March 2018.

On Wednesday 23rd October, the Police Chief of Albania announced during a press conference that a terrorist ring connected to the Iranian regime has been uncovered.
In March last year, the iranian regime sent two terrorists from Turkey to Albania, instructing them to act as journalists and to bomb the MEK Nowruz gathering.

On Wednesday 23rd October, the Police Chief of Albania announced during a press conference that a terrorist ring connected to the Iranian regime has been uncovered. This ring, operating in Albania, has been plotting to launch attacks on members of the Mujahedin-e Khalq (PMOI/MEK) residing in the country.

It was also explained that the same ring was behind the plot to launch a terrorist attack on the PMOI/MEK’s Nowruz (New Year) gathering in March last year, as well as a number of other terrorists and espionage attacks.

Iranian political prisoner Sepideh Qolian began a hunger strike on Sunday, October 20, in protest to the increasing pressure that the intelligence services of the mullahs’ regime have placed upon her and her family, as well as the mistreatment of inmates in Qarchak Prison by the authorities.

Qolian, who was placed in solitary confinement for a few hours on Sunday after clashing with prison guards over the transfer of another political prisoner to solitary confinement, is demanding that a delegation from the Judiciary visit Qarchak to investigate the abysmal conditions of inmates there.

On Wednesday, members of the European parliament at the EP headquarters in Strasbourg held a conference that weighed in on the human rights situation in Iran. Attendants, which included MEPs, European politicians and Iranian opposition president Mrs. Maryam Rajavi, called for a strong European approach vis-a-vis the Iranian regime’s human rights violations and terrorism.

Strasbourg, October 23, 2019— Iranian opposition leader Maryam Rajavi attended a conference at the headquarters of the European Parliament in Strasbourg, which called for a strong European approach vis- à -vis the Iranian regime’s human rights violations and warmongering. In this conference, Mrs. Rajavi presented a new book that contains the names and particulars of 5,000 MEK martyrs executed by the Iranian regime.

The family of political prisoner Atena Daemi has been prevented from seeing her in Evin’s s visiting the hall, according to a post on her sister Ensiyeh’s Twitter account.

On Sunday, Ensiyeh tweeted: “In the visiting hall, they stamped our hands. This is a routine we have to go through whenever we go for a visit. Then we went to the hall where we can meet in person. Suddenly, a guard brought a letter from the warden indicating that we could not meet in person, without mentioning any reasons.

The people have been holding strikes, protests and anti-government demonstrations for some time, making it known that they are fed up with the despotic rule that is ruining their lives, their country, and the Iranian economy. They have said that they want the regime to stop interfering abroad and they will accept nothing less than regime change because they know it is incapable of reform.

At least 20 Iranian workers have lost their lives in just one week due to unsafe working conditions under the mullahs’ regime, according to recent media reports.

On Thursday, October 17, four workers died because of a lack of the most basic safety provisions and equipment in several different workplaces in Rasht (northern Iran), Tubas (northeast Iran), and Chadegan (central Iran). It is not known how they died.
