Water Crisis in Iran: Ultra Critical State Reached

The office of Ministry of Energy’s Water and Wastewater Planning acknowledged that water conditions in Iran have reached a level described as ultra critical.

Hedayat Fahmi of Iran’s Energy Ministry explained, “If a country uses up to 40 percent of its renewable water resources, it’s considered to be in an acceptable state, but if the figure reaches 40-60 percent, then the country is faced with a water crisis. If, however, renewable water usage is between 60-80 percent, the country is in a critical water condition. A renewable water usage of more than 80 percent shows an ultra critical state, so that we could say that Iran with its 88 percent of renewable water usage is now in such a state.”

“Free Iran” Rallies 100,000 Supporters on Saturday

On, July 1st, a massive gathering of tens of thousands of members of the Iranian Diaspora joined hundreds of dignitaries from the Arab World, the United States and Europe and their supporters in a convention hall north of Paris, where at least 100,000 people voiced their demands for regime change in Tehran. The event, staged annually by opposition coalition National Council of Resistance of Iran (NCRI), was led by its President, Maryam Rajavi. People came together to unite against the regime in Iran. It was the largest gathering of Iranians abroad of its kind.

Victims of Iran Terrorism Take Iran to Court in Canada

A $1.7 billion judgement against the Iranian government in favour of American victims of terrorism has been upheld by the Court of Appeal in Canada. It rejects the state’s immunity and says Iran is trying to overturn Canada’s Justice for Victims of Terrorism Act.

This is another victory for victims of terrorism and is another step closer to making Iran be accountable for the numerous acts of terrorism it was involved with during the eighties and nineties via its support for Hezbollah and Hamas.

Iran Regime and Allies Conspiring to Create Chaos in Middle East Claims Saudi Arabia Ambassador

Saudi Arabia’s Permanent Representative to the United Nations has declared that Qatar has been actively supporting terrorist groups in the Middle East for around two decades. 

In a press statement issued by the Saudi representative Ambassador Abdullah Bin Yahya Al Mu’allemi, Saudi Arabia maintains that Qatar has been destabilising and posing a security risk to numerous countries in the Middle East, as well as being involved with terrorist groups that pose a risk to the whole world.

Children Are Deprived of Education Due to the Lack of Identity Documents

The illiteracy of Iranian children, especially in the provinces like Sistan and Baluchistan, has become terrible, as the regime’s agents one by one are admitting to it. 

Mohammad Naeem Aminifard, the Iranian regime MP from Iranshahr, says: Our latest statistics on the number of illiterates in Sistan and Baluchistan province are different from those of the official organs. Government statistics estimate about 25 to 30 thousand people illiterate, but our statistics estimate about 110 to 120 thousand people in the province. He continued saying: A number of people have not been identified due to the lack of access to government services or deployment of government agents to remote areas, mountains, and in some cases in the deserts that government services have never been offered at those points, therefore, those people do not have personal identification cards.

Iran Regime’s Judiciary Secretary: There Are No Political Prisoners in Iran!

Mohammad Javad Larijani, secretary of the Human Rights Directorate of the Iranian Judiciary oddly said in a press conference that there were no political prisoners in Iran. He also called for the execution of “fire at your own discretion command” of Ali Khamenei, the leader of the Iranian regime.

The head of the human rights headquarters in the Iranian judiciary, who was responding to the question of whether he has taken action on the human rights situation of political prisoners inside the country on Tuesday, July 4, said: “We do not have such title as political prisoners in the country.”

John Bolton: Iran Regime Must Not See 40th Birthday

The former US ambassador to the UN gave a stirring speech to the Free Iran Gathering in Paris this weekend, in which he stated that the Iranian Regime “must not reach its 40th birthday”.

John Bolton, who is also the Chairman of Gatestone Institute, was talking about the change in US policy with regard to the Iranian Regime and advised Donald Trump to take a firm stance.

Courageous Messages From Political Prisoners in Support of Resistance of Iran’s Great Gathering in Paris

To announce solidarity with Resistance of Iran’s grand gathering on 1 July 2017 in Paris, resistant political prisoners under Mullahs dictatorship have issued statements, calling on Iranians to more than ever participate in the event.

In their messages, the political prisoners have referred to Paris gathering as the reflection of freedom-seeking of all captive Iranians, voice of the deprived and Kordestan’s toiling porters, voice of Sunnis and Balochs, symbol of Iran and Iranians’ glory, symbol of resistance and organized alternative, and the message from the raised flag ‘resistance at any price to reach freedom’.

Brave Activists Defy Iranian Regime

On Saturday 1st July, the Iranian opposition, the National Council of Resistance of Iran (NCRI), will be hosting its annual “Free Iran” rally in Paris. Many people in Iran have risked imprisonment, arrest, torture and even execution to share the news about the event. Many people have passed leaflets around and put posters up in cities across the country.

The activities have been compiled in a video clip. People are calling for regime change and holding posters saying that they want Supreme Leader Khamenei to be replaced by Maryam Rajavi, the president-elect of the NCRI and leader of the opposition.

Iranian Regime Cracking Down on Mal-Veiled Women, Promising Punishments and Judicial Cases

Earlier this week, an Iranian regime prosecutor said that serious punishments would be handed out to women who are not properly veiled. 

The prosecutor of the Mazandaran province in the northern part of the country, Assadollah Ja’fari, said that women are forbidden from unveiling in their car and if they are found to do so their vehicle will be seized and a judicial case would be opened.
