Iranian women play an important role in the Iranian opposition’s struggle against the Iranian regime. Thousands of these women, inside the country and abroad, joined the People’s Mojahedin Organization of Iran (also known as the Mojahedin-e-Khalq, MEK or PMOI) to struggle for freedom and justice.
