Iran: Trump can overturn the nuclear deal

James Phillips, senior research fellow for Middle Eastern affairs at the Douglas and Sarah Allison Center for Foreign Policy Studies at The Heritage Foundation, has written an article for The Daily Signal about the Iran nuclear deal. 

On Wednesday, Iranian President Hassan Rouhani said that it was impossible for the nuclear deal signed with Obama administration to be overturned by Donald Trump.

IAEA report confirms Iran has exceeded nuclear deal limit for the second time

According to an article published by Reuters, Iran has exceeded a soft limit on sensitive material. The limit was set during the nuclear deal with major powers.

This news was provided by the U.N. atomic watchdog said on Wednesday just hours after Donald Trump, a strong criticiser of the nuclear deal, won the U.S. presidential election.

Dr. Majid Rafizadeh wrote an article for frontpagemag.com in which he discusses Iran’s game of scoring political points for injuring or killing Americans. He said Iran is “one of the few places in the world in which you are fully allowed to brag about murdering Americans and you can list it as a significant accomplishment on your resume”.

U.S. policy towards Iran needs to be readdressed

Amir Basiri, a human rights activist, has said that the U.S. policy towards Iran should be reconsidered. He pointed out that once the nuclear deal was signed with Iran, President Obama spoke about his wishes to “have conversations with Iran that incentivize them to behave differently in the region, to be less aggressive, less hostile, more cooperative, to operate the way we expect nations in the international community to behave”. He also said that the U.S. will continue to help Iran cooperate in resolving issues in the Middle East.

Abdullah Moalemi published an article in the Qatari Newspaper of Al-Arab saying that Maryam Rajavi, the president-elect of the National Council of Resistance of Iran (NCRI) should be listened to and trusted for the facts she has exposed regarding the Iranian regime. He said: “The president of the National Council of the Iranian Resistance (NCRI), Maryam Rajavi, discloses facts about the Iranian regime. Maryam Rajavi says that Houthi militias fired Mecca with missiles with Khamenei’s order and under the supervision of Qods Force. She also stressed that firing Mecca was actually a declaration of war against all Muslims in the world and naturally, this incident was condemned by all the entities in the world except the Iranian regime.”

Deputy commander of Qods Force admits to Iranian regime’s meddling in Syria

The National Council of Resistance of Iran have reported that the deputy commander of the terrorist Qods Force mentioned the Iranian regime’s participation in the Syrian Civil War and the slaughter of the people. He said that this year is a year of destiny for the Iranian regime. On Saturday 5th November 2016, the ISNA News Agency (affiliated with the regime) reported the deputy commander Esmail Qaani as saying: “In the current year, destiny only determines the result of this Civil War in Syria. This war requires commanders who can impose the will of the Iranian regime to the enemies.” This was said at a ceremony commemorating one of the commanders of IRGC in Syria, Hossein Hamedani, at the Military University of Imam Hossein.

Iran: Commemoration held in remembrance of 1988 massacre victims in Sassari, Italy

In Sassari, Italy, a conference has been held at the city’s Central University in commemoration of the tens of thousands of political dissidents who were killed by the Iranian regime in 1988. The conference was widely reported in the media and via social networks.

On November 7, as reported by the National Council of Resistance of Iran (NCRI), a conference was held in the main hall of the Central University of Sassari, in Italy, to commemorate the 30 thousand martyrs of the 1988 massacre in Iran, to support the “Justice Seeking Movement”, and to condemn the repression of women by the clerical regime of Iran.

The mayor of Sassari, the director of the Amnesty International, and Italian representatives participated in the conference. A delegation of the Iranian Resistance also attended and made a speech.
