They proclaimed their support for the National Council of Resistance of Iran’s (NCRI) president-elect, Maryam Rajavi, and her Ten-Point Plan for Iran’s future.
This historic organization has remained resilient, with their ideas and influence continuing to propagate within the Iranian society and internationally.
The internal report, penned by an official at the regime’s Ministry of Health, was sent to the Presidential Office to underline the harsh reality Iran is facing. It cites figures from the Statistical Center of Iran, stating that nearly 150,000 highly-educated Iranians departed the country in 1398 (2019-2020).
Delegates from diverse nations, including former leaders and legislators from Asia, Africa, and Europe, assembled to address several pressing matters including the recent uprisings in Iran and the regime’s countermeasures, the identification of a viable alternative to the incumbent regime, and the development of suitable policies to tackle the complex challenges posed by the current government.
This latest development follows a series of trials and prosecutions she has faced in the past year.
Supported by majorities in 29 parliaments and bolstered by an open letter signed by 117 former world leaders, the summit highlighted the perilous consequences of appeasing Iran’s regime and demanded a decisive global stance.
The statement carries significant weight due to the involvement of esteemed figures, among them Ahmad Obaid bin Daghr, former Prime Minister and current Speaker of the Yemeni Parliament. This bold declaration signals escalating international solidarity with the Iranian population’s ambitions for political reform.
The conference addressed the threats posed by the regime, and the Iranian resistance movement’s achievements, and envisioned a peaceful Middle East without the current Iranian regime.
