There’s a growing sense of optimism for the Iranian people and their diaspora following the New Year’s celebrations last week, that the Iranian Regime will soon fall, according to political scientist Dr. Majid Rafizadeh.
Much of that optimism can be attributed to the nationwide protests that spread across Iran in late January, reaching every province and every demographic, even those previously thought to support the Regime.

Former US President Barack Obama was a firm believer in appeasement policies towards Iranian regime. He tried to convince everyone that if the US pursued these policies, Iran’s actions would fall into line with international standards. He believed the Iranian regime’s claims of moderation – despite the signs that portrayed the exact opposite.

Earlier this week, the Saudi Arabia-led Arab coalition stated that Iran has been involved in the manufacturing of weapons used by the Houthi rebels in Yemen. It said that the that debris of the missiles the Houthis fired can be traced back to weapons manufactured near the Iranian capital. The comments were made at a news conference with the participation of ambassadors of the military alliance.

Hackers linked to the Iranian Regime have broken into the accounts of roughly 8,000 professors at hundreds of foreign universities, and US as well as employees at private companies and government entities, in a “massive and brazen” hacking scheme designed to steal massive amounts of data and intellectual property, according to the Trump administration.

It seems to many that United States President Donald Trump is going to scrap the 2015 nuclear deal that was signed between Iran and several world powers. The rumour mill started – or was perhaps fuelled – when the US Secretary of States Rex Tillerson was sacked. His replacement, Mike Pompeo – the former head of the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA), says a lot according to some – in particular because he has not made it a secret that he is wary of Iran and its belligerence in the Middle East.

U.S. Ambassador to the United Nations Nikki Haley welcomed U.N. Security Council envoys to Washington, D.C. on Monday — and made sure to include a tour of weapons that the Trump administration says are proof of Iran’s meddling in the war in Yemen. On Twitter, Haley called it “first-hand evidence from the Department of Defense of Iran’s illegal weapons program.”
