Ceremony in Remembrance of 1988 Massacre Victims

To mark the anniversary of the 1988 massacre that resulted in the killing of more than 30,000 political prisoners, a ceremony was held in Tirana, Albania’s capital city. As well as a large number of PMOI (MEK) members, there were also political and human rights dignitaries in attendance. 

The President-elect of the Iranian Resistance, Mrs. Maryam Rajavi, spoke about the justice movement that is calling for an inquiry into the massacre. She called on the UN Human Rights Council and the UN High Commissioner for Human Rights to start an investigation into this crime against humanity and said that the perpetrators of the crime must be held responsible because some are currently high officials in the Iranian regime.

Iranian Pilgrims Disclosed the Negative Propagandas of the Iran Regime

A number of Iranian pilgrims who went to Saudi Arabia to attend Hajj Rites expressed their delight as this country welcomed them. As they stated, their misconceptions and worries vanished regarding the Saudi Arabia when they entered the country. This concern arose from the negative propagandas of the Iran regime.

Demonstration of People of Sardasht (in Western Iran) in Support of Porters

Following the firing at a group of Porters on June 25, and July 28 and 29, in Baneh and around the village of Dule’ei of Sardasht, as a result of which two Porters called Mine Abduli and Karim Mohammad Aminzadeh, were killed in point blank shooting  by security agents, and several others were injured, on Tuesday, August 15,  a group of Sardasht residents hold a demonstration in support of the Porters and condemned the savage killings by the Revolutionary Guards and the regime’s security forces while carrying signs reading “No to the killing of Porters”.

Hezbollah, sometimes called the Party of God, is an Iranian movement that was originally formed to assist the Ayatollah Khomeini and his forces in consolidating power after the revolution. It was created with help from Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC), receiving military assistance, training, and financial support from the Islamic Republic of Iran and Syria. The alliance between Iran, Hezbollah, and the Assad regime in Syria refers to itself as the “Axis of Resistance.”

Iran Continuing to Execute Minors

Human rights organisation Amnesty International has urged Iranian authorities to halt the execution of a man who was convicted of his come as a minor. 

At the age of 17, Mehdi Bohlouli was arrested for murder after stabbing a man to death during a fight. The Tehran criminal court sentenced him to death in 2001. 

Amnesty International say that the execution is scheduled to take place on Wednesday and if it goes ahead, it will be the second time in a week that a person who was younger than 18 years old at the time of committing a crime has been executed in Iran.

The power struggle at the top of leadership in the Iranian regime has President Rohani raising the stakes in his fight for power against the IRGC, by offering the Defense Ministry to the regular military.

Rohani’s candidate for the De¬fense and Armed Forces Logistics Ministry was a surprising pick. Should Brigadier-General Amir Hatami gain the parliament’s vote, he will be the first regular military officer to serve in a cabinet position. Since 1993, this position has been held by officers of the Is¬lamic Revolutionary Guards Corps (IRGC).

Jordan Warning: Presence of Iran Regime’s Militants Near the Border Is a Major Risk

Jordan, on Sunday, 14 August 2017, only a few days after the Iranian regime’s regional militants controlled a region near the Jordanian border, said it would not tolerate the presence of Shiite militias on its borders.

According to the Italian ANSA news agency, spokesman of Jordan’s government Mohammed al-Momeni said at a press conference that the presence of militants on the Jordanian border is “unacceptable and rejected.”

Supreme Leader of Iran Comes out Top Winner of Nuclear Deal

It has been reported by state-run media in Iran that a firm named “Ghadir Investment Company” has manged to sign an investment agreement with “Zarubezhneft” in Russia and “Unit International” in Turkey.

The news agency, Shana, which is affiliated with the Iranian regime’s Ministry of Oil, said an agreement between the three countries was signed on Monday 4th August. The agreement means that joint projects in the oil and gas sector, both inside and outside of Iran, will be initiated.
