Iran Regime Is No “Victim” When It Comes to Terrorism

Last week’s terror attacks in Iran have been widely criticised throughout the world and while we must have sympathy for the victims and their families, we must not feel sympathy with the Iranian Regime, according to a leading political analyst.

Paulo Casaca, founder and executive director of the Brussels-based South Asia Democratic Forum (SADF), told DW in an interview last Thursday that it is wrong to consider the Iranian Regime a victim of terrorism in the same way that we consider the UK and France as victims of terrorism.

Ahrain: Qatar Should Distance From Our Number One Enemy, Iran

The government of Bahrain warned Qatar to reconsider its policies and in particular closeness to the Iranian regime.

Bahrain’s foreign minister in an interview with “AlShahrq-al Awsat”, said: “Qatar must correct its path and return to its previous commitments. Qatar should stop its “propaganda campaign” and should distance from our number one enemy, Iran.”

The Repressive Forces of the Regime Suppress the Protests of Sugar Cane Workers

The workers of Haft Tepe Agro-industry of Susa protested for the fourth time against the due payments and receivables.

As the state-run Fars News reported, the workers of the sugar cane company rallied with their families. More than 1000 employees, retirees and sugar cane cutters of Haft Tepe passed the 3rd day of strike on Tuesday, June 6.

Iran: 79% of Southern Town Residents Lack Drinking Water

79% of the 283,000 people living in the city of Chabahar in southern Iran are deprived of piped drinking water in their homes, according to city official Ayoub Darvishi of the Chabahar.

“400 villages around this city lack piping, and drinking water is provided through tankers and in rations. Each resident has a ration of 15 liters of water per day,” he explained.

Saudi Foreign Minister Calls for Iran to Be Held Accountable for Its Destruction

Not long after United States President Donald Trump’s successful visit to Saudi Arabia, there have been more calls for Iran to be held accountable for its actions in the region. 

The Saudi foreign minister, Adel Jubeir, commented on a trip to Paris that Iran should be punished and held accountable for the extensive meddling it has done in nations across the Middle East.

Iranian Opposition Leader Heads Gathering in Paris

On Saturday 3rd June, President-elect of the National Council of Resistance of Iran (NCRI) Mrs. Maryam Rajavi spoke at a gathering in Paris. The event, named “Interfaith Solidarity Against Extremism”, was held for the occasion of Ramadan and had numerous figures from numerous countries in the Middle East in attendance. 

Mrs. Rajavi called on all Muslims whether they are Shiite or Sunni to reunite in solidarity against the ruling clerical regime in Iran which is central to all of the conflicts in the Middle East.

US Sanctions on Iran Trouble Lebanon

Officials in Washington are preparing to widen sanctions that will financially affect the Hezbollah group. Alarms have been triggered in Lebanon as the government is fearful that the country’s banking sector will be particularly affected. 

Although the draft amendment has not yet been proposed as law, sanctions could be imposed against those who are financing the terror group that is backed by Iran.

Iran: US Senate Set to Vote on Iran Sanctions in Upcoming Days

The Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell, a Kentucky Republican, is attempting to push the Senate into imposing tougher sanctions on Iran. If it indeed happens, it could have consequences for Russia – bringing up the argument (again) about financial penalties against Moscow.
