Iran: Strike at major hospital

The National Council of Resistance of Iran (NCRI) have reported that there was a staged protest at the Namazi Hospital of Shiraz in southern Iran. They were protesting the status of their pay and stopped working for a day. 

On 12th October the online News Agency reported supervisor of Namazi Hospital, Dr. Mohammadreza Edraki, saying that the situation is critical. Edraki said: “The health insurance organization has not paid the 6-month dues to this medical-education center. Like the other authorities, we are also concerned about this problem.”

GCC and Turkey call for an end to Iran interventions

In an article on the English version of Al Arabiya’s website, it has been announced that the foreign ministers of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) and their Turkish counterpart “Mevlut Cavusoglu” have urged Iran to stop its sectarian interferences in the region.

In a joint press conference with Cavusoglu following the GCC-Turkey ministerial meeting, Adel al-Jubeir, Saudi Arabia’s Foreign Minister, urged “Iran and Iraq to refrain from promoting sectarianism in the region”.

IRAN: U.S. funds may have supported terrorism

Senators in the U.S. are seeking to instigate an official inquiry by the Pentagon into an attack on U.S. Navy by Houthi rebel forces, reports the National Council of Resistance of Iran (NCRI).

They are concerned that Iran used some of the $1.7 billion payment from the US to fund an attack and support Houthi terrorist forces in Yemen. This money has been labelled a “ransom” to free the U.S. hostages. This could mean that American taxpayers could be “unknowingly sponsoring terrorist organisations”, said the NCRI.
