Today, Iran is still struggling with the worst pandemic in the Middle East and one of the worst in the world. The regime’s Health Ministry estimates that the disease has killed 60,000 Iranians, but this is due to widespread underreporting in early 2020, after more than a month of outright denials that anyone had been infected.
According to recent reports, by The National Council of Resistance of Iran (NCRI), and the People’s Mujahedin of Iran (PMOI / MEK Iran), in early January, Iran’s regime Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei announced his regime’s strategy for dealing with the Covid-19 outbreak.
The Iranian regime has pretty much given away to China a significant amount of the country’s natural resources. The deal that was made is scandalous and downright shameful. Even many of the regime’s officials are speaking out against the so-called “strategic and comprehensive plan”.
More and more people in Iran are falling into absolute poverty. So many people across the country cannot afford to make ends meet.
Even before the Iranian people were struck by the coronavirus pandemic, severe economic downturns and public unrest had put the government in a vulnerable position.
The National Council of Resistance of Iran (NCRI), and the People’s Mujahedin of Iran (PMOI / MEK Iran), reported that during a recent meeting between Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei and the National Congress of Four Thousand Martyrs of Yazd Province, concerns were expressed about the explosive state of society and the forces that are struggling to cope.
The National Council of Resistance of Iran (NCRI), and the People’s Mujahedin of Iran (PMOI / MEK Iran), reported that in recent years, the appeasing Europe strategy has stopped holding Iran accountable for all of its malign practices, in the hope that allowing Iran to be more permissive will lead to the clerical regime becoming more cooperative.
